End of the challenge - nid311Some time ago the challenge was set  A deviation per letter of the alphabet  Depicting the subjects that Rockgem chose  Whether traditional, digital, poetry or prose  She set up a club, I joined there and then  But as I can’t draw, I picked up my pen  To start with I found it hard to get going  With a friend’s help I got the words flowing     
Slowly but surely I started to write  An ability for poetry soon came to light  Pretty soon I had written and submitted a few  And as I wrote more my confidence grew  For one subject I even attempted prose  But now End of the challenge - nid311

The Peacekeeper - nid113The towns of Roseville and Cottlefield had been fighting for years, so long in fact that word had spread far and wide and most people avoided the area rather then get caught up in the bitter dispute.  Neighbouring towns had appealed for peace but been met with such hostility that they quickly gave up trying to intervene in case the violence turned on them.   Now that most of the trade wagons had stopped coming into the area the towns were running short on various supplies, which meant both towns were sending out more raiding parties.

A while ago out of curiosity I set a small challenge - essentially a list titled A-Z of Life Challenge the idea taken from a list found on the lid of a trinket box...
Or indeed The ABC of Life Challenge the aim being to create a deviation in any media you wish be it poetry, prose, digital, mixed media, photography,fractal, traditional etc...
that relates to each of the given themes

This is generally set up as a club for those who wish to try out creating deviations along the theme of these 26 listed categories

you don't have to attempt all of the categories if you don't want to feel free to just do one or two but it would be nice to have a few members who complete the whole list

:bulletblack: To join simply note the club with a note titled JOIN
:bulletblack: and then add us to your watch list - we in turn will watch you :)
:bulletblack: We will then add you to the list of members at the bottom of this journal
:bulletblack: please add our icon to your page somewhere although its not essential

:star: To submit work

To submit a piece to the club send a note titled Club Submission and we shall add it to our :+fav:s gallery and then in turn to the club gallery please include in your note the following things -

:bulletblack: a link to your original image/deviation or a thumb
:bulletblack: the category that your work ought be submitted under
:bulletblack: a few keywords that relate to the piece
:bulletblack: which of the themes the piece relates to

:bulletred: please only enter one piece per week ( i will not adhere to this strictly whilst there are still only a few members) i hate to put restrictions on this but as the club gains more members (or i hope it does) i will have difficulty keeping up with all of your wonderful works!

likewise i shall accept more deviations per member when things are a little quieter else come the end of the month there will be nothing to show in the news articles and none of us want that!
